What happens when you put a glass of water in the freezer?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

If the freeing point is , and it gets lower than 32, what will happen?

OpenStudy (ciarán95):

The word 'freezing' means to convert a liquid into a solid. To do this, we need to cool out liquid down. So, our 'freezing point' will be the temperature at which our liquid molecules are cold enough that they will stop moving about and solidify.
