OpenStudy (rz172):

What is an example of a question that you should ask yourself when evaluating a persuasive speech? A. Did the introduction state the topic, or main idea of the presentation? B. Did the speaker present a clear opinion on the topic? C. Is the specific purpose for the speech clear? D. Are there effective transitions?

OpenStudy (aveline):

Honestly, I think all of those are good examples of what you should ask yourself.

OpenStudy (rz172):

But, could it be A?

OpenStudy (aveline):

But since you're trying to convince someone in a persuasive speech, I think B would be the best answer? I'm not sure... I think A and C are very similar in meaning. Not 100% sure on this one.

OpenStudy (blake4560):

I think that the answer is B. A persuasive essay is trying to make someone see the logic of your argument; and possibly convince/win them over.

OpenStudy (chapterfour):

I agree with the answer choice B but as Aveline has said... all answer choices are good.

OpenStudy (poetryprincess):

I say B as well.
