OpenStudy (prince1342):

In circle A shown below, mArc BC is 67° and mArc EF is 74°

OpenStudy (prince1342):

@mathstudent55 Help?

OpenStudy (welshfella):

looks like you have the wrong diagram

OpenStudy (prince1342):

OpenStudy (prince1342):

What is m∠FDE? 37° 74° 70.5° 33.5°

OpenStudy (welshfella):

sorry cant help you. We never did arcs at school.

OpenStudy (prince1342):

@Orange_

OpenStudy (orange_):

Ok

OpenStudy (orange_):

Do you understand this at all?

OpenStudy (orange_):

@Prince1342

OpenStudy (orange_):

Do you understand this at all @Prince1342

OpenStudy (prince1342):

No, sorry if my reply was a little late, I was trying to look it up

OpenStudy (orange_):

Np So you have to find D. I know it seems kind of weird, but you always have to find the arc of the middle letter. Since they give you FDE, then you find D.

OpenStudy (orange_):

Do you know that a circle will always be 360 degrees? Since it will always be 360, we have to add the numbers we have (67 and 74) which is 141.

OpenStudy (orange_):

Scratch that. We have to find the radius/ diameter

OpenStudy (prince1342):

Im a little confused

OpenStudy (orange_):

Ughh me too.. I am sorry but I don't know how to help you.. This is kind of weird, most of the time they will give you the radius/diameter..

OpenStudy (prince1342):

:(

OpenStudy (prince1342):

Does this give any clues? http://openstudy.com/updates/53ab0f84e4b02c45b013d92e

OpenStudy (welshfella):

I could only guess My guess would be 70.5 ( half of 141)

OpenStudy (orange_):

Yeah I agree with Welshfella

OpenStudy (welshfella):

the 2 angles where the line cross = sum of the 2 given arcs . And the 2 angles are equal so its 141/2.

OpenStudy (prince1342):

ohhh ok

OpenStudy (prince1342):

Could you help with a few more please?

OpenStudy (orange_):

Give welsh a medal
