95% is 2 standard deviations above and below the mean... so the range for men is 97.1 - 2*0.51 to 97.1 + 2*0.51 women 98.2 - 2*0.57 to 98.2 + 2*0.57 no idea on the margin of error other than its 1/2 the smallest unit of measurement. given the standard deviation is calculated to 2 decimal places...it may mean the error is + or - 0.005 but given the mean temps are to 1 decimal place it may mean the error is 0.05
