@K12awesomeness

OpenStudy (anonymous):

have u learned this yet ?

OpenStudy (k12awesomeness):

Yes, I have.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i forgot how to get the mean absolute deviation, can u remind me

OpenStudy (k12awesomeness):

Sure. Give me a sec.

OpenStudy (k12awesomeness):

Theres this: the mean deviation is a measure of dispersion, A measure of by how much the values in the data set are likely to differ from their mean. The absolute value is used to avoid deviations with opposite signs cancelling each other out. And then theres this: The mean means to add up all the numbers, then divide by how many numbers there are. In other words it is the sum divided by the count.

OpenStudy (kaleb_m95):

10+11+15+16+18/6

OpenStudy (kaleb_m95):

its 5 not 6

OpenStudy (k12awesomeness):

And the answer to your question is 14... I do believe:)

k thanks

OpenStudy (kaleb_m95):

10+11+15+16+18+70/5=14 so yes k12 you are right
