How did Bob Dylan’s song differ from other protest songs of the era such as “Fortunate Son” by Credence Clearwater Revival, “Ohio” by Crosby, Stills, Nash, and Young, “Revolution” by the Beatles, or any others you may come across?

CSNY's Ohio is about a specific event, the deaths of 4 college students at Kent State. The students were part of a group protesting the war. The Ohio National Guard unit called out to help keep peace on campus clashed with the protesters. Some of the Guardsmen started shooting even though no order to shoot was given. The lyrics in Ohio retell the story. Dylan's Blowin in the Wind never mentions the war or any actual events. It is more subtle and thought provoking. Again, listen to the songs you are writing about. Use specific lyrics to prove your point. A great protest song that your question doesn't mention is Alice's Restaurant. It takes a mundane event and turns it into a very funny protest of the war.
