What key features of a polynomial can be found using the Fundamental Theorem of Algebra and the Factor Theorem? How does the Remainder Theorem allow for zeros of a polynomial to be identified?

OpenStudy (daniel.ohearn1):

What is your Remainder Theorem?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

There isn't one.

Fundamental theorem of algebra guarantees that a polynomial of degree n can be factored as n linear factor over the complex numbers. Factor theorem states that if (x-a) is a factor of the polynomial p(x) then p(a)=0. So I guess you can find the roots this way?
