Would anyone care to be a grand ole human and help me? In Act I, Brutus is contemplating Caesar's rise to power, questioning whether he should stay loyal to Caesar or do something about Caesar's increasing power. This is an example of what kind of conflict? External conflict Internal conflict

emmagrace231 (emmagrace231):

This would be internal conflict. :)

Atsie (atsie):

Well, that very sentence above would not imply anything external. Why? Because it would talk like this.... "Brutus is contemplating Caesars rise to power as he starts to smash his hands through windows and thinks of ways to knock Caesar off his throne" This is physically and externally known as that type of conflict because another person can SEE whats going on because its on the outside. (if that makes sense) But in this case nothing of the sort os going on. KEY words! "Contemplating" When one contemplates, its a thing they do internally before they do it externally. I hope this was of some help! ^.^ @Cicilybailey14
