OpenStudy (courtstacks98):

How can you find the sets of coordinates off of a unit circle graph?

OpenStudy (bobo-i-bo):

So you are asking how you can find the all the coordinates which lie on a unit circle graph?

OpenStudy (courtstacks98):

No, I have to pick out the two sets of coordinates from this graph.

OpenStudy (phi):

the x value is the cosine of the angle the y value is the sine of the angle

OpenStudy (phi):

It's not clear you are on the unit circle. I see lots of circles. It looks like the circle with the red dot has radius 2 if so, then x = 2 cos A y = 2 sin A where A is 3 pi /4

OpenStudy (courtstacks98):

so x= -sqrt 2 And y= sqrt2 ?

OpenStudy (phi):

if the point is on the unit circle

OpenStudy (phi):

although I gave you the wrong angle. maybe you can read the angle better on your paper. But it should be 7pi/4 (or 315 degrees) as you see, the x value should be positive (on the right side of the origin) and the y value should be negative (below the x-axis)

OpenStudy (phi):

do they tell you the distance between rings ?
