@princeevee do you know how to factor?
OpenStudy (princeevee):
not exactly
OpenStudy (photon336):
Okay so let's start \[\frac{ 10u^{2}-4u }{ 2u }\]
OpenStudy (princeevee):
no it has already been answered

OpenStudy (photon336):
an answer is good but do you know to do it?
OpenStudy (princeevee):
yes a bit
OpenStudy (photon336):
so how would we start?
OpenStudy (princeevee):
with the exponents? i really dont know much
OpenStudy (photon336):
no problem so look at the top, when you factor you have to take out a term that's the same in every term. for example
10u^2-4u
both terms have a u in it so we can factor out a u.
follow so far?

OpenStudy (princeevee):
ok
OpenStudy (photon336):
now whenever we take a term out it goes like this
so far this is what we have
\[u(10u-4)\]
