OpenStudy (boldjon):

yes

OpenStudy (boldjon):

ur right

OpenStudy (anitas.):

@jim_thompson5910 plz check alona y do u love fighting this is second time you sayoing that.. soo lame

jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

you have to rewrite 8 as a power of 2

jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

eg: say you wanted to write 32 as a power of 2, you'd write it as 2^5 because 2^5 = 2*2*2*2*2 = 32

OpenStudy (anitas.):

soo i multiply the exponents? i thought i either had to add or subtract..

jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

if you have something like 2^10 over 2^6 then you would subtract exponents (2^10) over (2^6) = 2^(10-6) = 2^4 = 16

OpenStudy (anitas.):

so that makes my answer to be D right?

jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

close but no

jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

if you have something like 2^10 over 2^6 then you would SUBTRACT the exponents (2^10) over (2^6) = 2^(10-6) = 2^4 = 16

OpenStudy (anitas.):

oh i actually ment to say C. lol

MsBrains (ms-brains):
