There are evident problems with nuclear proliferation, the main one being that at some point and at some time, a rogue nation or terrorist group will succeed in acquiring a nuclear device of some type. Still today the biggest threat to America's security is the possibility of a terrorist group detonating a nuclear device somewhere in the country. Another major problem with nuclear proliferation is that as more and more countries acquire the technology to make nuclear weapons, the world becomes increasingly unstable. At the close of the Cold War, there was a sigh of relief that both the U.S. and Russia were scaling down their nuclear arsenals. Another problem with nuclear proliferation is the fact that as more and more nations acquire nuclear weapons, the risk just among themselves becomes an issue. Nations acquiring nuclear weapons are at odds with each other. Pakistan and India, for example. These nations are not friendly toward each other, and have a sensitive relationship with each other. Both have nuclear weapons. So the problem with nuclear proliferation extends much beyond the U.S. borders and interests.
wait did u by chance see me 2 weekends ago?
