ok this is a really stupid question but what is the misspelled word!? (There has to be one) She learned it isn't good to tell some tales.
I don't see one. are you sure it's asking for a misspelled word?
Maybe not the most clever sentence, but the words are correctly spelled and in correct context and order.
She learned that it isn't good to tell some tales. ^^ a pretty bad sentence. I would rather say, vv She learned that it isn't good to tell any tales. --------------------------------------- No, honestly, I would never use that kind of sentence. Kind of poor-ish, but when you are using a negative, or a question, then you use "any" instead of "some".
Well, people commonly use "some" as opposed to "any" in questions, but at least, when you are saying a negative statement, then use "any", not "some". Examples: «I don't need \(\sf \color{blue}{any}\) help.» (and not «I don't need \(\sf \color{red}{some}\) help.») «You are not going to get \(\sf \color{blue}{any}\) cookies.» and not «You are not going to get \(\sf \color{red}{some}\) cookies.») «I want to buy \(\sf \color{blue}{some}\) fruit.» and not «I want to buy \(\sf \color{red}{any}\) fruit.»)
You see how using "any" and "some" differs.
