Questions here.
OpenStudy (tylermckinney16):
@Isaiah.Feynman
OpenStudy (tomy12345):
to find the circumference whats the formula?
OpenStudy (isaiah.feynman):
I feel like you can beat this one yourself.
OpenStudy (tylermckinney16):
So its like the one before?

C = r^2 * 3.14
OpenStudy (tomy12345):
should I not help?
OpenStudy (tylermckinney16):
root of 36 is 6
OpenStudy (isaiah.feynman):
Anyone is welcome to help.
OpenStudy (tylermckinney16):
Is the answer 12? i did root of 36 is 6 and 6*2=12??

OpenStudy (tomy12345):
so if you times pi by radius^2, you divide circumference by pi to get diameter and that diameter in half equals radius...
hope I helped^_^
OpenStudy (tylermckinney16):
11.4649681529 ?????
OpenStudy (isaiah.feynman):
Well, lemme try. We have circumference and radius here. The circumference and radius are related by \[C = 2 \pi r\] We can solve for the radius to get \[r = \frac{ C }{ 2 \pi }\]
OpenStudy (tylermckinney16):
Ok
OpenStudy (isaiah.feynman):
What is C?

2?
OpenStudy (isaiah.feynman):
Nope. C stands for circumference, it is in the question. Try again.
OpenStudy (tylermckinney16):
oh 36
OpenStudy (isaiah.feynman):
36 pi.
OpenStudy (tylermckinney16):
Ok cool.

Can you plug in and solve now?
OpenStudy (tylermckinney16):
What do i plug it in to?
OpenStudy (tylermckinney16):
18?
OpenStudy (isaiah.feynman):
Yes. That's the answer.
OpenStudy (tylermckinney16):
Cool :)

OpenStudy (isaiah.feynman):
How did you get it??
OpenStudy (tylermckinney16):
I did 36/2=18
OpenStudy (isaiah.feynman):
Well good, what about the pi ?
OpenStudy (tylermckinney16):
So i put 18 pi?
OpenStudy (isaiah.feynman):
No. I want to see how you knew the pi shouldn't be there.
