Brianna hurley @kelsey.benton00
I think you have a good voice (: Do you know how to play any acoustic instruments? Guitar, piano, ukelele?
I kinda know how to play piano im still learning and thank you
Awesome! So, do me a favor and look up some popular cover artists, such as Christina Grimmie, Leroy Sanchez, etc. And notice that they rarely record a video without some sort of instrumental support. Because you’re just learning, there are a lot of songs out there that come with really simple accompaniment. You may not be into the sort of music, but a really good example is the song “Say Something,” ft. Christina Aguilera. Other songs, you can simply learn the chords and play those. Not that acapella is bad or anything, when it's performed right, but when it comes to doing covers, any instrument really, is better than none. It lends a more experienced, developed tone to your music. Piano is a really good cover instrument, maybe the best. As is guitar. If you're going to continue doing covers, and if your goal is for people to notice you and hear your music, then I would also advise you to look into some recording equipment. If you don't know how to go about doing that, simply google "decent recording software and equipment" and go from there. A good website to experiment with is soundtrap.com, which has a variety of sound effects and synthesizers and just a whole bunch of stuff, so you should give it a look. Now, just fyi, some of this stuff could get costly if you are serious about it, but this only applies if you are actually considering like, a hobby of making covers and posting them for the enjoyment of others. If you don’t plan on being serious about it, don’t waste your money. But like I said, I like your voice. There are some things you could do with it, such as practice with improving your enunciation, projecting a bit more (which comes with breath support), things like that. But there’s potential here. So my advice to you is to not waste it (: Good job Brianna.
your voice is really good. I agree with @kelsey.benton00 some acoustic musical instrument is needed. but otherwise good job. dont give up hope. practice.
You have a great voice and I can see tat you are quite new at this, For now, you should play the karaoke versions of songs and sing to them, although A Capella is great it isn't the best.
You took me aback when I clicked on your Rolling in the Deep cover. Amazing! Keep on! -SMS ◥▶◀◤
You have a really really pretty voice hun, and despite the various flaws in it your really enjoyable to listen to. As others have stated above, its extremely extremely important to have instrumental backing to accompany you. I can understand why you didn't. Its scary. It seems like your out of tune, like you sound really bad, and like your voice doesn't belong with the music. But if you practice over and over and over, your going to eventually learn techniques on your own that will make you sound better with music. If you don't start singing with an instrumental now, it could result in a disaster down the road. Also, one thing I noticed is how frail (depending on what your singing) your voice is in some spots. Like weak more so, and undefined. Here's a secret....this link right here --> http://singing-made-simple.com/ has saved my life. Not only do I understand more about my voice, but I also learned how to sing properly using the correct muscles. I've sent many others to that link before and I myself have heard astounding results as far as improvement goes. Give it a try, and remember: Sing with music! I can't stress how important that is. Don't give up, it just takes time and practice! ♥
Thank you all :)
