Hello everybody! So this is not a question, but more of an answer. Look at your upper arms for a second. Do you notice tiny little bumps? Not exactly red, but raised skin. Maybe you've tried to treat it because you assume it's acne. You may have not even noticed, since they don't itch or burn. However, you want to rid yourself of them. Well, look no further! I'm going to give you a home remedy! What you are probably suffering from is Keratosis Pilaris. This is when the body produces to much keratin and clogs up the hair follicle, causing the bumps. It's not harmful in any way.

20% percent of the population suffers from this. Though it may not be harmful, you may still want to seek treatment, since they aren't exactly appealing. Here is an easy home remedy to help clear Keratosis Pilaris. Mix 2-3 tablespoons of baking soda with water, until it becomes a paste like consistency Take a damp washcloth and apply paste on affected area. Gently scrub for 3-5 minutes Wash of with luke warm water Moisturize with lotion afterward, since baking soda tends to dry out the skin. dry skin actually can make the condition worse. Avoid taking extremely hot baths, which also dries out skin. Keep your skin extra moisturized in winter months, since that time of year dries out skin. Repeat this process 2-3 times a week to keep the little bumps away. It may take a few days to notice results.

One common mistake doctors make is to diagnose the condition as eczema or acne. DO NOT apply any acne clearing products to the affected area. This will only worsen the condition. Also avoid soaps that dry out skin. Opt for a moisturizing soap and lotion. Hopefully this works for you! <3

I actually had a problem with this when I was 5-13, I would mix baking soda with water until it was a thick paste that would stay on my arm without dripping off and then I would take a shower and after my shower I would mix baby powder, baby lotion, and water until it was almost like a lotion but it helped clean out and moisturize the pores too.
