Okay so, we can do this problem by using point slope formula. Whenever you are given a point on a graph ex: (4,1) and the slope. so in your problem you are given the slope of -3 and point (-6, -4). The slope formula goes like this y-y1 = m(x-x1) Plug in your slope which is m and plug in your point, the -6 replaces the x1 because -6 is the x coordinate (x,y). Replace y1 with -4. You should end up with y-(-6) = -3(x-(-4) Now you need to simplify it. Negative and a negative turns into a positive, so it becomes y+6 = -3(x+4) Check which answer choice is it.
