will fan and medal pleas help!!!
Yes bro?
Given the equations 2x+(4/3)y=1 and y-(9/13)x=9, by what factor would you multiply the first equation so that combining the two equations would eliminate x?
choices are...
-(9/26)
(9/26)
(1/2)
-(9/13)

@kenny252
2x+(4/3)y=1 and y-(9/13)x=9 Isolate X in one x=(1-(4/3)y)/2 then replace in the other y-(9/13)*[(1-(4/3)y)/2]=9 from there, you isolate Y... do you need me to continue?

omg will some one help me???anyone idc who ull get a medal!!!!!
@mathmath333
so we have x=(3/4)y/6 in one equation (quick correction using wolfram alpha) we are going to substitute it into the other y-(9/13)[(3/4)y/6]=9 y-(27y/312)=9 y-(9y/104)=9 y^2=104 y=sqrt(104)
im still confused bro i dont know a single thing about math
then whhy you not start with the basics ?
this kind of questions are for advanced and those who don't know a single thing about math should not even concern
and if they want to they should start with the basics
well i need to know how to do it what am i suppose to do sit here and suck my thumb and stare at the paper this is a website where u ask questions to find out answers and whats the point of having an account if no one does that
@knov
im sorry, i don't get you. when someone explains your question, you say you don't know a single thing about a math. then now you seem to know a thing about math and try to solve problems and ask question ?
or you just want the answer ?
well i like to figure it out but either dosnt matter for me but u gotta be basic tryna explain this stuff to me
