OpenStudy (ashely14):

@peachpi

OpenStudy (peachpi):

what did you get?

OpenStudy (ashely14):

i didnt know how to do this one

OpenStudy (peachpi):

3 is the radius of the circle, so find the circumference of the circle, then divide by 4 since it's a quarter-circle. Then add the two straight side, which are also radii of the circle

OpenStudy (ashely14):

what is circumference again i

OpenStudy (arthur_ser):

The circumfrence of a circle is 2πr (r = radius). In the above image you have a quarter of a circle, so its circumfrence will be 2πr/4. You know the radius so you can find the cicumfrence

OpenStudy (ashely14):

D.

OpenStudy (ashely14):

is it 2*3.14*3/4=4.71

OpenStudy (arthur_ser):

Yes

OpenStudy (ashely14):

okay thanks for the help guys

OpenStudy (peachpi):

then add 6 for the two 3 cm sides

OpenStudy (ashely14):

so B

OpenStudy (peachpi):

yes

OpenStudy (ashely14):

okay thanks

OpenStudy (ashely14):
