OpenStudy (sloppycanada):

This one polar coordinates one really bugs me - http://prntscr.com/b1w9g2

OpenStudy (hyuna301):

it is ( 3 , 90 degrees )

OpenStudy (hyuna301):

since polar coordinates is represented by (r,angle) here, r = distance from the origin angle = is the angle made by +ve x-axis

OpenStudy (sloppycanada):

Okay, so but r in the original is -3.

I guess I just don't understand how I get the equation to figure out how to convert what I need to convert.

OpenStudy (hyuna301):

|dw:1462765347683:dw| we already fond the the coordinates of A for the coordinates of B, again use ( r, angle) so , r = dist. OB = \[3\sqrt{2}\] and angle = 45 degrees
