OpenStudy (rockhauler98):

first one (a)

OpenStudy (dropkikingbabys):

screw you southern princess, i was the first to give you the answer to a different question and you gave the other owlet the medal

OpenStudy (southern_princess13):

what question ...

OpenStudy (southern_princess13):

sorry?

OpenStudy (dropkikingbabys):

It was the one about the distance around the half circle

563blackghost (563blackghost):

I remember that. The thing is though you gave the answer @Dropkikingbabys but did not help the person through the question so @southern_princess13 was probably lost on how you even came across that answer. And there is no need for you to talk to another owlet like that.

OpenStudy (dropkikingbabys):

XD, I doubt she cares about how to do it anyways but I also told her exactly how to do it after I gave her the answer.

OpenStudy (dropkikingbabys):

It was a super simple problem anyways

OpenStudy (southern_princess13):

what grade are you in @Dropkikingbabys

OpenStudy (dropkikingbabys):

11th

563blackghost (563blackghost):

Even if you doubt she cares about the answer you still can't give it away. Also, it is not always simple for others it can be for you but for @southern_princess13 it was probably difficult for her.

OpenStudy (southern_princess13):

lmao thats why its easy for you im in 7th

OpenStudy (dropkikingbabys):

All you had to do was punch the values in a formula and divide by 2 lmao

563blackghost (563blackghost):

For the first question we would use the equation to find the circumference in which we would divide by 2.... \(\Huge{C= \pi d}\) We know of the diameter which is `64` so we input that... \(\Huge{C=3.14(64)}\) Once you find that you would divide by 2.

OpenStudy (southern_princess13):

i didnt know the formula at first

563blackghost (563blackghost):

@Dropkikingbabys please stop posting comments if you are not going to help the owlet.

OpenStudy (dropkikingbabys):

XD XD XD Owlet.. cmon dude

563blackghost (563blackghost):

:P Im not a dude.

OpenStudy (southern_princess13):

#2

563blackghost (563blackghost):

The instructions are for the first one...if that was unclear

OpenStudy (southern_princess13):

do i multiply the numbers and the side and then multiply by 3.14?

563blackghost (563blackghost):

No we would not multiply the numbers. We would first find the circumference of the half-circle in which we have the diameter as `8in` so we input that.... \(\Huge{C=\frac{3.14(8)}{2}}\) Once you find that you would add it with the three sides of the rectangle so you would add it with `8+9+9`.

OpenStudy (southern_princess13):

ok i think i got it now thank you :)

563blackghost (563blackghost):

np :)

563blackghost (563blackghost):

For your other question its best to post them separately: 1. It cause a big mess on that one thread. 2. Only one question is allowed on one thread so others can have a chance to help.

OpenStudy (southern_princess13):

ok

563blackghost (563blackghost):

I have to go :( Good luck with your work @southern_princess13 you'll do well ^^

OpenStudy (southern_princess13):

thx
