OpenStudy (dumbledore18):

Has anyone read Pride and Prejudice recently that could help me with some questions I didn't figure out when reading it?

Hayhayz (hayhayz):

I have not but what are your questions anyway?

OpenStudy (harrietp):

I have recently

OpenStudy (harrietp):

What are your questions?

alones (alones):

You didn't figure out when reading it? you mean the questions or the book?

OpenStudy (dumbledore18):

The questions about the book. Which sentence from Pride and Prejudice most clearly shows the point of view from which it is written? “There was no help for it however.” “She was not the better pleased with his gallantry, from the idea it suggested of something more.” “The two first dances, however, brought a return of distress; they were dances of mortification.” That one I honest have no clue what the answer is. But the next one I think I know the answer. Read this dialogue from Mr. Bennet. “Your mother will never see you again if you do not marry Mr. Collins, and I will never see you again if you do.” What do these words show about Mr. Bennet’s character? He is cruel and vengeful. He is humorous and clever. He is bored and uninterested I think its Cruel and Vengeful.
