OpenStudy (taylorxchavez):

HELP PLEASE ! You have the numbers 1–25 written on slips of paper. If you choose one slip at random, what is the probability that you will select a number that is divisible by 4? (1 point) 1/5 6/25 4/25 2/3

OpenStudy (campbell_st):

so how many numbers between 1 and 25 are multiples of 4... 4, 8, 12, etc this will give the favourable outcomes then P(divisible by 4) = number of favourable outcomes/25

OpenStudy (throneofbooks):

B is correct because there are 6 numbers up to 24 that are divisible by 4 (4,8,12,16,20,24). So, 6/24 :)

satellite73 (satellite73):

??

OpenStudy (taylorxchavez):

thank you :)

OpenStudy (campbell_st):

there you go... someone always gives the answer.... I suppose it saves thinking about a problem

OpenStudy (throneofbooks):

no problem. :) and I meant to say 6/25, not 6/24.

OpenStudy (brianjrthemonkeycr):

6/25, because there are 6 number that are divisible by 4
