So im given an equation with 4 variables. Each variable represents; a=22, b=17, c=6, d=4 a+b-c-d So that would give us; 22+17-6-4 Using PEMDAS, I know to add before I subtract Following these rules, I come up with 35 However I am doing a test on a site called Plato, which is so I can earn my credits. Every time I do it this way it tells me i'm incorrect. Is there another way to do this so Plato doesnt keep telling me i'm wrong? Or maybe I am wrong? I need some instruction.

Vocaloid (vocaloid):

when you have adding and subtracting together, go from left to right

Vocaloid (vocaloid):

so you just do 22 + 17 then -6 then -4

Vocaloid (vocaloid):

PEMDAS acronym is a bit misleading when you have multiplication and division in the same problem, you go from left to right, even if it means doing division first same thing with addition/subtraction
