Plis help will medal and fan

OpenStudy (questionaskerduh1243):

I DONT UNDERSTAND PLIS HELP ME

OpenStudy (questionaskerduh1243):

can you help?

OpenStudy (sachintha):

First you will have get some prices as said. Fill the shopping list.

OpenStudy (questionaskerduh1243):

oh yeah i ment to delete whats in the grocery list and i did that and made up my own and my teacher said Your price comparison should reflect the cost as you buy more of that item. Take another look at the math. Your equations are incorrect and should reflect a function of the unit price. I am missing your graphs. There is a recording on the message board if you have other questions.

OpenStudy (questionaskerduh1243):

you still there?

OpenStudy (sachintha):

Post your work over here so we can check.

OpenStudy (questionaskerduh1243):

ok one sec

OpenStudy (questionaskerduh1243):

OpenStudy (questionaskerduh1243):

thats what i did and sent in

OpenStudy (questionaskerduh1243):

lol btw im still here it said i left idk y

OpenStudy (sachintha):

You have done it wrong. How did you fill those values? You seemed to have filled them without even going to a grocery. :3

OpenStudy (questionaskerduh1243):

well yeah i sorta kinda made them up but only cause im supposed to get 2 values for each store of what it comes up by but they all go up by diffrent valuse

OpenStudy (questionaskerduh1243):

which confused me

OpenStudy (sachintha):

Look at the example they have given. First store, "4 for $3.49" Second store, "5 for $5.00" It has a quantity too. So fill up values like these. 2 for $2.50 or likewise.

OpenStudy (questionaskerduh1243):

Sorry but i dont get what you mean i probably should but i dont im sorry

OpenStudy (questionaskerduh1243):

guess im to dumb for my own good.... oh well anyone else able to help?

OpenStudy (sachintha):

Fill some random values like, \(\begin{array}{ccc}&Store~1&Store~2\\Milk&2~for~$15&$8~each\\Apple&5~for~$10&6~for~$11\\.&.&.\\.&.&.\end{array}\)

OpenStudy (questionaskerduh1243):

ok one sec

OpenStudy (questionaskerduh1243):

sorry almost done @Sachintha

OpenStudy (questionaskerduh1243):

im filling in the quantity right now

OpenStudy (questionaskerduh1243):

ill show you prices actualy cause i think i might need help on quatity

OpenStudy (questionaskerduh1243):

OpenStudy (questionaskerduh1243):

for quantity i put my prices there right?

OpenStudy (questionaskerduh1243):

also that page is supposed to be blank sorry

OpenStudy (questionaskerduh1243):

still here?

OpenStudy (questionaskerduh1243):

Ok guess not

OpenStudy (sachintha):

That seems fine. Now fill the quantity price table for each item on both stores. For example take apple. $$ \bf Store~1\\ \begin{array}{ccc} &\sf Quantity&|&\sf Price \\\hline &1&|&$5 \\\hline &2&|&$10 \\\hline &3&|&$15 \\\hline &.&|&. \\\hline &.&|&. \end{array} \\Equation = 5x $$ $$ \bf Store~2\\ \begin{array}{ccc} &\sf Quantity&|&\sf Price \\\hline &1&|&$6.50 \\\hline &2&|&$13.00 \\\hline &3&|&$19.50 \\\hline &.&|&. \\\hline &.&|&. \end{array} \\Equation = 6.50x $$ Here \(x\) is a variable taken as the quantity.

OpenStudy (sachintha):

|dw:1465496090326:dw| So as you can see in the chart and table, it's best to buy apple from store 1 since it is cheap.
