OpenStudy (kawaiiiimya):

How would you solve this 5x -2(x -1) + 11 < 4x -3(x -2) + 5 ?

alones (alones):

Simplify both sides of the inequality. 3x+13<x+11 and subtract x from both sides. 3x+13−x<x+11−x 2x+13<11

alones (alones):

and again subtract 13 from both sides 2x+13−13<11−13 \[2x<−2\] at last you just divide both sides by 2. \[ \frac{ 2x }{ 2} < \frac{ -2 }{ 2}\] \[x<−1\]

OpenStudy (kawaiiiimya):
