To help to make things more clear, here are the proper uses for each: \(\bf\underline{\color{lime}{Italics}}\) should be used for the following: Titles of the following types of works: Books, TV shows, radio shows, movies, plays, operas and ballets, long poems, long musical pieces (such as symphonies), newspapers, magazines, journals, works of art (paintings, sculptures, photographs), pamphlets, reports, podcasts, blogs (but not websites in general, which are only capitalized) Names of ships on water, in space, or in the air (example, \(\it\color{slate}{Endeavor}\)). \(\bf\underline{\color{lime}{Quotations}}\) should be used for the following: Titles of the following: Book chapters (named, not numbered, chapters), TV show episodes, radio show episodes, songs, short stories, short poems (most poems), newspaper, magazine, and journal articles, blog articles, podcast episodes, unpublished works (dissertations, manuscripts in collections). Mottoes and maxims. Dialogue. Words used as sarcasm, made up words, and words as words (example is the "A" in this sentence: You will get an "A" on this homework assignment.)
