need help don't understand at all

OpenStudy (niuuu):

OpenStudy (indianman):

h(x) increases at a constant rate

OpenStudy (agent0smith):

All the ones that are exponential, you should notice a common multiple between y values. Eg. 4, 16, 64, 256, ... you hopefully will notice is being multiplied by 4. If it is NOT exponential, there will be no common multiple from one y to the next.

OpenStudy (niuuu):

@agent0smith so would that mean that f(x) is not and k(x)????

OpenStudy (agent0smith):

Check for yourself. If there is a common multiple between values, then it is exponential.

OpenStudy (niuuu):

@agent0smith I found the answer everything but k(x) which means that's the only one that could not come from a expotental function

OpenStudy (agent0smith):

Go through each one and decide whether it is exponential or not. k(x) is not exponential, only cos of that sneaky 0 they threw in there to screw up the pattern

OpenStudy (niuuu):

@agent0smith so I have a question would h(x) count as one because it only increases by .25?

OpenStudy (agent0smith):

Is there a common multiple between all the numbers in h(x)?

OpenStudy (niuuu):

@agent0smith no

OpenStudy (agent0smith):

Then it is not exponential
