OpenStudy (mabby00):

Need some help answering these. I would love explanations. Thank you.

OpenStudy (mabby00):

I've done #3

OpenStudy (mabby00):

Also, question 4.

zepdrix (zepdrix):

\(\large\rm x^{1/2}\cdot x^{1/4}=x^{1/2+1/4}\) And from there you looked for a common denominator, ok great!

zepdrix (zepdrix):

The way you wrote it in steps 4 and 5 is a little inaccurate. The addition occurs in the exponent, not between the x's.

zepdrix (zepdrix):

Is that what you're confused about maybe?

OpenStudy (mabby00):

I'm just confused on how to do the first 2 and the last one. The other 2 were simple.

zepdrix (zepdrix):

The first two and the last one? I only see problems 3 and 4 listed. Hmm.

zepdrix (zepdrix):

@mabby00 Hmm I think you forgot to post the problem list :)

OpenStudy (triciaal):

did you find questions 1, 2 and 5 ?

OpenStudy (mabby00):

No, I didn't. I would like some help if you can. @triciaal
