@shesolitt It sounds like some recap would be useful for you. In French, possessive adjectives have to account for the person of the possessor, as well as gender and number of objects possessed. In English, if I have one apple or two apples, I can still say MY apple, or MY apples. In French, distinction must be made between MA pomme, or MES pommes.
