I would like to clarify something with people that have ever come across me and thought I was denouncing their religion. Reason is in comments because it's too long for post.
I'm agnostic. Which for anyone who doesn't know what it means it's basically a short term for I'm in the middle of belief in a religion and being a full blown aethiest. I sit on the fence for the subject of religion because I wanted something higher to believe in is watching me and taking care of me because of my childhood and home I was raised in (story for another time) but at the same time I would think a deity or messiah who loves his creations/followers would prevent something like that from happening. Most of my life there would be a situation that was almost like it happened before so I would handle it different the next time and nothing would change. So just since the age of 15 David 2 whatever if any true deity or messiah 0. As in I proved God wrong twice since I've been 15. Now I've experienced hell and I'm not out of it. When I got that second point it was earlier this week when I was announced dead for almost a minute. That was the second time in my life I was announced dead but brought back. A part of me wants to thank science but that small part that has faith that something is out there was watching over me. I asked one of my close friends to take me to church with her next time she goes but she is on Vacation. So if you thought I was saying that religion isn't real when I say some of those things in chats it's because right now I have nothing to go on that a God exists. Also most of the points people were making just sounded strange and made no sense so I thought I'd chime in.
I don't know you at all really, but I can certainly see why believe what you believe and had circumstance been different my life, I would likely believe the same. I just want you to know that I fully support you in your quest for truth. This is something I heard from a church leader a while back that I really love. Feel free to ignore it but I thought you might find it helpful. "Remember that you are here to be proved and tested, “to see if [you] will do all things whatsoever the Lord [your] God shall command [you]” (Abraham 3:25)—and may I just add, “under all circumstances.” Millions of your brothers and sisters have been or are being thus tested, so why would you be exempt? Some trials come through your own disobedience or negligence. Other trials come because of the negligence of others or simply because this is a fallen world. When these trials come, the adversary’s minions begin broadcasting that you did something wrong, that this is a punishment, a sign that Heavenly Father does not love you. Ignore that! Instead, try to force a smile, gaze heavenward, and say, “I understand, Lord. I know what this is. A time to prove myself, isn’t it?” Then partner with Him to endure well to the end. Spiritual confidence increases when you accept that “often trials and tribulations are allowed to come into [your life] because of what [you] are doing right” Here's a link to the entire article as well. https://www.lds.org/general-conference/2014/10/approaching-the-throne-of-god-with-confidence?lang=eng&_r=1
But... God isn't real :)
I'm pretty sure you don't even know what agnosticism is @Sainath. Second show some respect for people who are trying to answer. No one else would go on your questions and spam what you said or something moronic like it. If you don't believe who cares don't get on the page.
God isn't real
Okay do you know what agnosticism is yes or no?
It's literally 2 sentences in
@Sainath please at least have the decency to be courteous. If nothing else, you're only proving that we need religion as a society to stay civilized.
lol no
Well, your comments prove otherwise.
Nah
Keep searching man. I searched a lot. I settled with God and the Bible. If you ever have questions about certain beliefs or religions, even my own, I'm here to answer.
