Round them to numbers that you can multiply easily. Instead of 16%, use 15% (or even 10%, 20%). Just realize that the farther away you choose, the larger your error will be for estimation. $118.56 could become $120 or $100. Personally, I would choose 20% and $100. Choosing a larger percentage but a corresponding lower value to multiple. .20 * 100 = $20. This is my estimate. .16 * 118.56 = $18.96. This is truth. So my estimate is $1.04 too high. Not terrible for an estimate.
