@TheSmartOne

TheSmartOne (thesmartone):

\(\sf\Large Slope = \frac{\color{blue}{y_2}-\color{red}{y_1}}{\color{green}{x_2}-\color{purple}{x_1}}\) Where the two points are in the form: \(\sf\Large (\color{purple}{x_1},\color{red}{y_1})~and~(\color{green}{x_2},\color{blue}{y_2})\)

OpenStudy (lordhelix8th):

ok

TheSmartOne (thesmartone):

What do you get? :P

OpenStudy (lordhelix8th):

(-6,-4)

OpenStudy (lordhelix8th):

:V

TheSmartOne (thesmartone):

The slope should be a number, not an ordered pair :P \(\sf\Large Slope = \frac{\color{blue}{y_2}-\color{red}{y_1}}{\color{green}{x_2}-\color{purple}{x_1}}\) Where the two points are in the form: \(\sf\Large (\color{purple}{x_1},\color{red}{y_1})~and~(\color{green}{x_2},\color{blue}{y_2})\) you're given the points (-2, -1) and (3, 4). I made it color coded to make it easier for you to substitute it in to the slope formula too xD

OOOO i see XD
