can someone please help thanks :)

OpenStudy (leonardo0430):

Find the equation of the line given h(-6)=2 and h(0)=4

OpenStudy (campbell_st):

well the two points in the line are (2, -6) and (4, 0) so now you can find the slope of the line and then the equation

OpenStudy (retireed):

h(-6)=2 and h(0)=4 are just two points of which a linear equation can be found. The only slightly confusing thing here is that they use h as the name of the function instead of the more common f. Look at it like this and see if you can't find the equation of the line... f(x) = y ----------------- -6 | 2 0 | 4 If you plot these two points it looks like this.... |dw:1472680813473:dw|

OpenStudy (sshayer):

points are (-6,2) and (0,4) eq. of line is \[y-y1=\frac{ y2-y1 }{ x2-x1 }(x-x1)\] ?
