OpenStudy (wild_child117):

Solve for d. 3 + d < 3 − d ___________________ a. d < −6 b. d < −3 c. d < 0 d. d < 6

OpenStudy (will.h):

2d < 0 d < 0 but this question is wrong because if you substitute d = 0 in the inequality you'd get 3 < 3 which is incorrect! let your instructor know about that you'll appear as a legend lol because se if you have to isolate d in one side you'll have to add d on both sides for the right side which would equal 2d < 3 - 3 2d < 0 d < 0/2 d< 0

OpenStudy (will.h):

make sense to you?

OpenStudy (will.h):

@agent0smith correct me if am wrong

OpenStudy (will.h):

anyway your answer is d<0

OpenStudy (will.h):

Nooooo i figured it out we had the answer correct d<0 which means the values that would set the inequality to be correct is all real numbers less that 0 such as -1 substitute d = -1 3 + -1 < 3- (-1) 2 < 4 whici is correct :)

OpenStudy (will.h):

so yeah the answer is d<0 make sense?

alones (alones):

@Will.H that's correct (:

OpenStudy (will.h):

Thank you AloneS :)
