The effective resistance is 2 K Ohm The current with out IS is 2 ma, you would need 5 ma to develop 10 volts Vo thus IS would be 3 ma.|dw:1473395989174:dw| All the resistors are parallel, The two given currents are opposing resulting in 2 ma. IS is aiding the resultant (in the same direction).
