.

OpenStudy (danieldjpon3):

Are you sure this is math?

satellite73 (satellite73):

pretty sure do you know how to read the symbol \(\forall\)?

OpenStudy (mathmate):

Hint: Z=set of integers Q=set of rational numbers Once you complete (a), (b) can be obtained by replacing x\(\in\)Q by Ratl(x) and similarly x\(\in\)Z by Int(x).

OpenStudy (drewkatski):

∀ means 'for all' i believe

satellite73 (satellite73):

so for all x, if x is an integer, then x is rational

OpenStudy (drewkatski):

what about the 2nd part

OpenStudy (drewkatski):

but there exists ?

OpenStudy (drewkatski):

I guess they are trying to say some integers are not rational numbers there but I dont see how in that sentence structure..

OpenStudy (karim728):

for all x, if x is an is an element of z(integer), then x is Q(rational), but there exist some x element of Q, such that x is not an element of Z

OpenStudy (drewkatski):

thanks man
