chem Q w/ algebra calculation; I think I got this wrong. http://prntscr.com/cl4d7p I don't get why only half of it was incorrect? :\
example of the process I went through: https://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=20100813185945AA8O0A2 (Different values but similar idea)
Oooooooh, i get it
o_o?
yeah yeah, you just uh, uhm... erm.... ah; RIGHT, you uh, you do that thing, and uh... add the one thing... and.... er... yah. And that is how it's done
Sorry, I tried to help and failed.
( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
... uh... okay?
@mathmale May I request assistance in algebraic calculation?
I repeat my calculation and replace the value of mass of iron by 55.845 in place of 55.847 my new values are 18.63% Al and 81.37% for Fe \[mass.of Al = \frac{ \frac{ 0.100gH _{2} }{2.016 g H _{2}} -\frac{ 1.99g- sample }{AtomicMass Fe}}{ \frac{ 3 }{ 2 \times Atomic Mass Al }- \frac{ 1 }{ Atomic Mass Fe }}=0.37066 g\]
@cuanchi The site says my first value of 80.90% is CORRECT. But the other percentage is not... I don't get that. :(
@jabez177
@Mathmale, may you please teach this person how to do this? :) You are great at that. :)
I actually asked him, but he disappeared on me.
No idea
@jim_thompson5910 May you help with this problem, please? :) I'm asking kindly. :-)
@agent0smith @inkyvoyd
@kittiwitti1 I'm not that great with chem, but I notice that it mentions something about sig figs. So maybe instead of 19.10 you would put in 19.1 ? Maybe the same applies with 89.90 ?
@kittiwitti1 yes just try 3SF
