what is the answer for this
what is an Aerobic and Anaerobic?
Aerobic can refer to a biological process in which air is present. Hence the exercise system called "aerobics". Anaerobic implies that air is sort of LESS present. How many breaths does a 100m sprinter take during the 10 seconds or so of the race ? Very few, or a diver in a swimming pool. For that time they're anaerobic. http://perendis.webs.com
very good
thank you very much. "Aero" means air, possibly in some european language. There's a chocolate bar called an "Aero" which is full of air bubbles. What I referred to earlier is an example of "combustion" - burning. I THINK that "aerobic combustion" would be when burning is "complete" (bunsen burner, air hole open maybe), and the anaerobic version is when burning is "incomplete" (bunsen hole closed) leaving SOOT everywhere. Animal respiration is an example of burning - you "burn food to get energy". It's just not as spectacular as a fireworks display. I THINK that the above is roughly right - doubtless other people you know can frown or smile at it ...
