Hi, I have a doubt about the question. Are we assuming that all species (including acetone) are gases or is the pressure solely from ethane and DTBP? Im asking because the BP of acetone is higher than 300 K, but since the pressure is reduced im guessing that it's a gas as well, SINCE DTBP (which has a higher BP than acetone) is also a gas at these conditions. I'm also assuming that this follows ideal gas laws and there are no interactions between the particles. If we assume that all species are gases then look at this file for the answer to 3a), you can click on each cell to see what i did, but, basically i found the change in pressure from each data point and divided it by half (because each time you decompose a molecule of DTBP you gain 3 molecules (2 acetone and 1 ethane)) and subtracted it from the partial pressure of DTBP at the previous data point. It's sort of confusing but ask if you have questions. Im assuming that you can do the rest since theyre similar questions to the previous ones.
