This is actually somewhat tricky, because you'd expect the temp of the substance to keep rising as you heat it.. but in reality, the temp of the ice will rise to \(0~C^o\) UNTIL all the ice melts. This is because you need to break all the bonds holding the solid ice (hydrogen bonds) together. Btw, these "bonds" aren't bonds like the ones that hold an O atoms to an H atom in a water molecule, but are more accurately described as (intermolecular) forces... sorry if this is info overload, but i want to give you a background on why the answer is what it is.
