cscθ=−4 and tanθ>0. Find the exact values of the remaining trigonometric functions. Trig ?

Ferredoxin4:

Use these rules and you should be able to find the remaining trig values: If tanθ>0, it is positive, meaning the values are in quadrant III. cscθ=1/sinθ Then you'll have your sinθ, you should easily be able to find cosθ using Pythagorean theorem. Then you can find tanθ by doing sinθ/cosθ. Then you can find cotθ and secθ by finding the reciprocals of cosθ and tanθ.

Ferredoxin4:

Since it's in quadrant 3, your sinθ, cosθ, and their reciprocals will be negative. However, cotθ and tanθ will be positive.

RandomHomeschooler:

Okay thank you, I’ve been stuck on it all day :/

Best job!!!! @rioletcoolie
