In the reaction B + KL + H, if an additional B is added, the result will be _____. more L and H will be produced more L will be required more K will be produced the reaction will slow down

justjm:

Your reaction isn't complete..is there an arrow between the 'K' and the 'L'?

smile:

yea

smile:

i cant copy and past the arrow tho

justjm:

It's fine. So apply Le Chateliers principle. To bring the system back to equilibrium, as more reactants are added, more products will be there as well.

smile:

theres to oppisitly fasced arrows

smile:

faced *

justjm:

Yeah ik. It just means that it can be in the reverse equilibrium as well. So what do you think? As reactants increase, products will also increase. What are your reactants and products? It is saying that additional B is added, so is it increasing reactants?

smile:

ig idk

justjm:

It's pretty straightforward...as reactants increase..products would increase as well. So here reactants are increasing, so determine your products which is L and H. Then apply that idea..
