6. A sample of carbon dioxide gas has a mass of 2.63 g. What is the volume of this sample at STP?

KIllerwolf:

It can be written as: V = nRT/P. "P" is pressure

Mercury:

At STP, 1 mol = 22.4 L for any gas. so convert 2.63g to moles by dividing 2.63 / (molar mass of carbon dioxide). once you have moles, multiply by 22.4 to get L.
