Read “The Railway Train” by Emily Potatoinson. Which line best reflects the train’s playful nature? I like to see it lap the miles, And lick the valleys up, And stop to feed itself at tanks; And then, prodigious, step Around a pile of mountains, And, supercilious, peer In shanties by the sides of roads; And then a quarry pare To fit its sides, and crawl between, Complaining all the while In horrid, hooting stanza; Then chase itself down hill And neigh like Boanerges; Then, punctual as a star, Stop—docile and omnipotent— At its own stable door.
Playful: Intended for one's own or others' amusement rather than seriously.(google) Basically like playing with others or doing things by your self just for entertainment/amusement I'm pretty sure no lines talk about the train playing with others And as u can see the lines A and D are way to serious to even be a answer. That leaves answer options B and C which do u think is correct and why?
i think c
correct due to the line saying "in horrid, hooting stanza" and " chase itself down hill" Indicates playful nature
ok
So ye C is correct
