Which prediction about the plot does this passage most support? Caesar will be crowned king. Caesar will assassinate Casca. Caesar will die of a horrible illness. Caesar will be killed by his people.
Can u post the passage?
Read the excerpt from Julius Caesar, act 1, scene 2. CASCA. I know not what you mean by that, but I am sure265 Caesar fell down. If the tag-rag people did not clap him and hiss him, according as he pleased and displeased them, as they use to do the players in the theatre, I am no true man. BRUTUS. What said he when he came unto himself?270 CASCA. Marry, before he fell down, when he perceived the common herd was glad he refused the crown, he plucked me open his doublet and offered them his throat to cut. An I had been a man of any occupation, if I would not have taken him at a word,275 I would I might go to hell among the rogues. And so he fell.
"If the tag-rag people did not clap him and hiss him, according as he pleased and displeased them," This is basically showing that he let his people down/mistreated them in some way and they despise him for that. So what I'm think is that there is a conflict between "HIM AND HIS PEOPLE" We will cross off answer option A due to the fact the passage talks about him "Refusing" the crow meaning he does not want it and we cross off answer option B due to the fact the passage dosen't talk about him wanting to kill Casca at all. This leaves answer options C and D which do u think is correct and why?
i think its d bc i read the end of the story wbu and am i right
Correct
yaya okay i need more help
