Jefferson begins the introduction to the Declaration of Independence by stating his major premise and giving examples, and then explains the relationship between the colonies and Britain. the unalienable rights of all people. that governments should always represent their people. that the colonies will go to war against Britain.

mxddi3:

ok so we can get rid of options D and C. we know in his major premise that Jefferson addressed the fact that government was there to protect the rights of the people and was based upon consent of the governed. If this is the case, does it seem logical to go from talking about how government should be to unalienable rights? Or, does it seem more logical to state what a good government is and then explain the government the colonists encountered with the king and how if affected their relationship ?

wolfmaster:

thanks
