tayjah:

Ok

tayjah:

Srry its loading slow

AvaReed:

its okay

tayjah:

2/3.74

meatqueen:

Am I right?

Shadow:

Did you want to know how to do that by hand?

tayjah:

Yes plz explain

tayjah:

I am confused

Shadow:

Conventionally, you can pickup a calculator and do 2 divided by 3.74. This will give you the answer. If you want to do it by hand, you need to do something called long division.

Shadow:

Ever done it before?

tayjah:

Ik wat long division is im just bad at it

bruhimagirl22222:

2 divided by 3 .74

tayjah:

Exactly I'M CONFUSED

bruhimagirl22222:

use a calculator

tayjah:

I dnt want to I want to do it myself

bruhimagirl22222:

ok then

tayjah:

Can someone who is willing to help plz help me

Shadow:

What I'd do in this situation is convert the decimals into whole numbers to make it easier. So 200 divided by 374 Then in order to divided 200 by 374, we need to 'add a zero' to the end of it. We get 2000 / 374. Eyeball the numbers and see how many 374s go into 2000, should get 5. That is the first number of our decimal. We know it looks like 0.5 something now bc: |dw:1610395913418:dw|

tayjah:

Thank you

bruhimagirl22222:

ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

tayjah:

!!!!

Shadow:

You then basically do the same process of multiplying to the number you're dividing by. Subtraction. Then just doing the regular long division process.

tayjah:

ok Thx!!!😁

Shadow:

If that isn't clear, there are lots of videos like this one that also explain the process: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oAOwYjRizk0

xxdepressionxx:
