DanGonz:

in a year in this questian there is a probability she can do 33 miles more not less cause how do you do less by walking back lol

jhonyy9:

DanGonz:

356

LjTheBaller16:

365

jhonyy9:

yes of cors 365

jhonyy9:

and now just you need multiplie the 365 by 3 to get how many miles she walk in 1 year

jhonyy9:

@supie pls

Hoodmemes:

Anyway As somebody stated already "how many days has a year ?" (365 days are in a year) It states in the problem "Kate sets a goal to walk 3 miles every day for a year" She wants to walk 3 miles each day,there are 365 days in (1) year Multiply (365) by (3) \[365\times3=1095\] Now as it also states in the problem "How many miles more or less than 1,000 miles will she walk in the year" You wanna find the difference between the miles which are (1,000) and (1,095) To do so just subtract (1,000) from (1,095) \[1,095-1,000=95\] SO with all this being said answer option D.)95 miles more would be correct.
