TYRANNNNNNNNN:

How do you multiply unlike denominators

MiraAngel:

It doesn't matter if the denoms. are different. You just multiply them together.

sxdsouls:

multiplying fractions it doesn't matter if the denominators are different. You simply just multiply the two denominators to get your answer and the same for the numerators. https://www.google.com/search?q=how+to+multiply+unlike+denominators&rlz=1CATAVM_enUS914&oq=how+to+multiply+unlike+de&aqs=chrome.0.0l2j69i57j0i22i30l7.4661j0j7&sourceid=chrome&ie=UTF-8&safe=active&ssui=on -Google

TYRANNNNNNNNN:

Ok so how do you add or subtract

MiraAngel:

You need to make the denominators common. If you give me an example I can show you...

TYRANNNNNNNNN:

I need an example

MiraAngel:

hmmmm 2/3 + 3/4 so you would multiply 4 on both the top and the bottom of 2/3 because the denom. on the other fraction is 4. Then you would multiply 3 to the top and bottom on 3/4 because the denom. on the other fraction is 3. It would end up like this..... 8/12 + 9/12 then you would add the numerators... 17/12 then simplify....

TYRANNNNNNNNN:

Thank you

MiraAngel:

You are certainly welcome!

nevaehhh:

Alright, say we want to add 1/2 and 3/6 We need to make both denominators either 2, 6, or any other common factor. Imma make mine 6. 1/2=3/6 1*3 2*3 3/6+3/6= 6/6

nevaehhh:

There's my example amigo
